Questions about Bolt Ons and Tune
Buying a Fast Toys 98mm lid and 85mm MAF this evening. I will be able to delete the AIR system and make the block off plates and put them on myself, easy enough. However, the car is a 2000 Trans Am. I have read that I will need a new pigtail for the different MAF. Is this true?
Also I have a Flowmaster Catback on the car. Should I go ahead and do this mod then send Frost my PCM and let him tune it for the lid, maf, and catback?
Appreciate the advice!
P.S. - In the future I plan on installing the LS6 intake and removing the EGR.

Also I've read a lot about the SLP MAF being overpriced and overrated. However it's the MAF I got with the 98mm FT lid. Will it be okay to run without a tune until i can get an HP tuner or a frost tune?

Just unplug the MAF until you get to the tuners. Car will run in SD mode, which will be fine. Then, no lean running issues, and you don't screw up your fuel trims.
