gas line over exhaust help

gas line over exhaust help I had true duals installed n now my gas lines r sitting directly on top of the exhaust near where the old y pipe was.
I sprayed the exhaust there with manifold paint (1800 degrees kind) then I fabed up a "heat shield" that I also sprayed with the paint. Is there anything else that is better than wat I did. Or its wat I did just ignorant?
Also the pipes are touching the gas tank in some spots.
Need advice and opinions please.
