Lq4/T5 swap
Lq4/T5 swap Ok guys im doing my lq4 it is a 1999 model 6.0 so it has the longer crank i dont know what role that will play into this. swap its going it my 91 RS instead of the 82 Z. i am gonna use the factory WC t5 eventually i wanna go tko or a t56, but for now ill just have to not tear up this t5. So the question is what am i needing to get these two too mate?

I did some research so far here is what i have found that i need:
-early Chevy big block aluminum bellhousing casting # 3899621
-Ls flywheel and clutch
- LS7 Pilot bearing GM part #12557583
what else am i missing?

Custom trans crossmember and modified shifter will fix those issues
What are you doing for the throw out bearing? Use a 96-02 Fbody T5 front bearing retainer for a LS1 T56 style HTOB. Quartermaster sells a universal version but longevity is questionable. Fork style TOBs have clearance issues with common 3rd gen LTs and the 621 will position it pretty high, so it may not clear the trans tunnel
I used the late model bearing retainer to use the T56 style HTOB for space
