Default Rear Main seal removal?

Anybody have any tips on replacing the rear main seal? I'm swapping the clutch and figured I'd take care of the seal while I'm in there.

I'd rather not pull the rear cover: so is there an easy way to pull the rear main seal without nicking the crank?

There are notches for prying out the old seal. I used a PVC plumbing adapter to "drive" in the new seal, prolly could have pushed it in with my fingers though...

Perfect. I haven't dropped the tranny yet, so I didn't know what I was in for.

I ended up spending on those Sac City cover alignment tools, so I'm sure the seal will seat perfectly... I was just concerned about getting the old one out.
