Default Ebay sheet metal intake manifold??

I was wondering if anyone has run one of these? Will it clear the stock 01 camaro hood? Maybe someone might have had some dyno/ street experience?

It looks to be a good price for $450 shipped.

they are thin and flex , they are not good looking inside . Now if you have the skills if you cut the top off it and clean up the inside it will be good . I think a vendor on here did that for someone , bought an ebay intake and then opened the top up and fixed it .

Are you planning on revving the car to 7000 rpm?

I was planning to rev right at 7000. But if I kept making power on the dyno I might go higher.

Sounds like a great idea. Is it stock bottom end?

I bought the car used from an older guy that has no idea what's done to the car. and I assume it's stock. I've pulled the value covers off and it has aftermarket springs, push rods and yella Terra rockers. I found a recipt in the car for a ls6 longblock. It has a small cam in it so I'm assuming it's a z06 cam. I'm still figuring things out.

I found this. Looks like some good info. That intake picked up 57 peak hp over the stock ls1. It did move the torque up in the power band as expected.for the price I may given it a try and see I some timing adjustments own low can help bring back a little low n torque

Do a lot of research before you start just picking random parts you think will make your car pick up peak power. the slp intake is junk. Look it up on YouTube. A guy had it on a n/a motor and it was flexing so much it looked like trying to pull vacume on a aluminum can. The edelbrock intake is a real good intake but not for a baby cam ls6. It would be good if you had 400+ cubes. You will lose so much down low. The whole thing is making sure you parts you put on your car work well together. If you wanna spend money on a bigger intake pick up a used fast 102. Also if you have a ls6 cam it won't be making power all the way to 7k. Shifting at 6,500 would be just fine

Some good points. I don't plan on keeping this cam in to much longer. I may end up boosting the car within the next few years too.I do wish I could see on in person. It says the sheet metal is 3mm I feel like that shouldn't be to flemsy .

Default Ebay sheet metal intake manifold??

That's the slp garbage intake sold by a scam artist mattress salesman. Do some more research. A **** ton of posts about this on Facebook groups about how shitty it is and the video of it ******* flexing on an NA motor. It's junk. Buy quality parts like a FAST or run a ls6 intake.

You won't find any bad reviews about it on their Facebook page either because the owner deletes all bad comments super quick.

I've been trying to do some research. I don't have Facebook though. And yeah I don't want a intake that flexes. I currently have a ls6 intake on the car.
I wish I could see one in person first. The fast are out of my price range.
