Default 02 Fbody remote electric water pump for street

Hey guys I have an 02 Fbody with a 430lsx iron block and Procharger f1r.

I have a mechanical water pump now and I'm thinking about going to an electric remote setup.

The car is a street car so I'm curious what your thoughts are. Don't get me wrong it only gets 300 miles a year if that but I wanna make the right choice. Doing a remote setup will free up a ton of space.

Thanks!

Meziere appears to have some nice offerings:

That they do but what I'm looking for is are there any challenges I need to be aware of when doing this setup? Some say it's bad on a street car....

No issues here so far (couple of weeks). Cools down faster at stop lights. Where I've heard of issues with them, it was:

A. the heater lines were blocked off and not looped - some coolant needs to flow.
B. no holes in the thermostat - if the installer does not drill a small hole or two in the thermostat, there is no coolant flow. Of course, a lower temp thermostat (160) will pretty much always be open and have some flow.

Meziere electric water pump in stock location. 160 thermostat with a couple small holes drilled. I kept the heater core intact for some additional flow and cooling.

Link in the signature will take you to the build list if you're wanting to know the whole motor not just the pump. Running 11.5 compression ratio. Daily driven.
