It will really benefit if you can add a little timing and not get any knock. This is what happened in my case

i ran a 160 in my GTO for years. the car was tuned and it was fine.



the only problem i had when it was bitter cold it took a few minutes to get my heat to a tolerable temp. while it barely got warm enough once i was at operating temp. it was fine.

when i was cruising it would run cooler. sitting in traffic it would run at stock temp. at least according to my gauge which did move unlike my fbody temp gauge which also has a 160 but with a H/C and a non DD im not worried about any problems.

I bought the 160 for $30. I don't see the sense in paying $60 for the hypertech name...for 7 degrees less than stock. Also, I'm lucky it doesn't get bitter cold in Houston. I'm still wearing shorts and a t shirt til January or so....hehe
