So I bought a set of mr.gasket header bolts (#918g) and I noticed something weird. The head of one of the bolts is perfectly round. The other 11 are like normal.
Is it supposed to be like that or did someone oops?
Looks to me like it might be a carriage bolt. Does it have a square section just below the head? The manufacturer probably makes many kinds of bolts and this one got thrown in the feeder bin for the packaging machine, off the floor - and their final inspection people don't really care about their products or customers.
