Default Radiator for a 289 cooling a 5.3?

I bought a two row aluminum radiator for a swap awhile back because of the tiny core support of a shoebox ford .a lot ofguys where doing early mustangs size radiators. I looked at it today and the hose in/out are good for my 5.3 swap but it's awfull small!? What are the chances with a good fan and shroud it might cool a stock built 5.3? It's only16 3/8 x17 1/4 !?! Tiny little bugger but built really nice. Have no experience with lm7 5.3 but many guys cool gen1 sbc with them. Stupid shoebox core supports a real pain for everything not just radiator but fenders/hood/ grille / steRing box blah blah. Thanks for any advice in advance
