Fair enough for the design, I have a friend with a square port truck intake. I'll try out the adapters some time mid summer. A little cheaper than a ported fast haha.

Speculation...
Do we really care what any cathedral intake would flow on a rectangular port cylinder head?
We know the cathedral intakes reduce cathedral cylinder head flow by a solid 25 to 50 cfm on the cylinder head the those intakes are designed to match. The cathedral heads flow well the plastic cathedral intakes are the the key restriction. ITB intakes being an exception and carb intakes aren't part of this part of the discussion.
Adding a restrictive flowing cathedral intake with an adapter to adjust for the runner mismatch isn't going to improve the airflow of a rectangular LS3 style head in my opinion. Since I don't have any Ls3 style heads I can't test this even if we had an adapter.
I do have an LS3 intake and cathedral heads if someone can lend an adapter we can test this configuration. The LS3 intake flows pretty well. It may post some interesting numbers on a cathedral head. There will be an extra twist for the air sort of a "z" I think in the adapter transition from manifold to head. That may disrupt flow as the lift goes up. The low and middle lift numbers are probably where LS3 with cathedral head will have its best flow.
The truck rectangular intake would be nice to test as well.
Dyno testing would be the only way to determine what sort of power the mismatched intake and head would make. Moving the fuel Injectors slightly away from the hot intake valve may effect power. The "z" turn may also affect the injectors having a clear shot at the hot intake valve.

This is true the L92 intake is no slouch and is on par with a LS3 Intake. . In some cases it has outperformed the LS3 by as much as 10 on hp and TQ. But a word of caution here I have said this before , if you look at just the flow results you will be deceived into thinking the L92 does not have a chance against the LS3 or most other intakes. OEM truck intakes will not flow as well as a car intake in most cases.

I took off my ported LS6/throttle body combo yesterday and test fit a TBSS/92mm Warr Perf throttle body (plus a 1" eBay spacer I had laying around) in its place. For me the most important factor was that the stock F-body 4L60E transmission dipstick fit past the injector rails - in case I keep the 4L60E in the car for another season. Plus, the performance gains over the 78mm stuff is pretty obvious, and the TBSS/Warr combo should pay good dividends on the SBE LS1 with PRC heads and a rather large cam - especially after I port the TBSS intake.
