NW 92 Fitment on FAST 102
Can anyone confirm that a NW 92mm TB will work with a FAST 102? I have heard mixed things about this and I'm ready to buy. My tuner is recommending I go with the NW 92 tb for my build.

I do not know why it would not, I am using a factory
90 MM TB with my FAST 102. I would strongly encourage
Getting a V Max velocity ring which eliminates the step
From 92 to 102 right behind the TB at the entrance to
The plenum. This will make it MUCH EASIER
To tune especially the transition from idle to light/part
Throttle making it much more driveable at low speeds.

The 92 is just supposed to be easier to tune and more DD friendly from what I hear. I have heard some say that the 102 TB will lose some power in the low to midrange but I don't know how true that is.
So the Warr 92 fits. Does anyone know of any other 92mm TBs that work with no issues?

Cbm adapter
Well I think this would work for the NW 92.

But between that and the Vmax ring it ends up costing more than the 102. I think I'm going to go with the NW 102.

V Max Ring was ~$50.00 when I bought mine.
90 MM TB will cost me about ~8 -10 FWHP on my
690 FWHP Engine, but be much easier to tune and
drive part throttle, idle to ~2500 RPM. Loss of power
depends on starting point 600 might be ~6,
500-550 probably 0-4.

I can also say with confidence that on a cam only ls6 I switched a fast 92 to out for a 102 on my fast 102 and gained 6whp on the same dyno. I did not have the vmax ring on the 92 but after my results I never would even bother with a 92 on a fast 102
Op get the nw102 if your tuner is any good he won't have an issue. Then either go sd or a 100mm maf

Thanks for all of the input guys. I think I'll be ordering a NW 102 soon. My tuner never said that he couldn't tune the 102, he just suggested for my application that I might like the 92 better for a DD. He said to go with whichever one I prefer in the end, but highly suggested a NW regardless of the size.
