Default I have an oil leak

I’ve owned this car for forever it seems, but I guess leaving here stored for a year pissed her off. I have an oil drip (not really bad, a minor drip). It looks like it’s coming from these two bolts, just above the rack and pinion. I’ve attached a picture. Any guesses what this part is?

I'm probably just going to take it to a mechanic. My buddy did recommend using heavier oil though.

That has nothing to do with a leak. Tell your buddy to go back to school....

Very astute. The compressor is leaking, per the mechanic.
