Default LQ4 Throttle Body IAC Port

Can I weld the IAC port closed to get rid of the god awful whistle sound from my 04 lq4. Throttle body is a drive by wire

Take the base off the valve and weld it. Then bolt it on? SO if something changes later.........

There is no valve. It's a drive by wire throttle body. Just has the hole on the inside top left corner.

There is no IAC or IAC port on a drive by wire throttle body.

Yes there is. Google lq4 throttle body. There is a hole in the inside top left of the bore.

You sure that is not just a vacuum port, look on the side of the intake in that area,might be a vacuum port there, just plug it off and see if noise goes away.

Clean the hole out good, and JB Weld....Quicksteel?
I've had pretty good luck in the past with the stuff on modding other throttle bodies.
