Default Fast 92 and WARR 92mm TB install issue

Replaced my BBK setup with this set up. The issue I'm having is a cant seem to get the throttle cable to work right. With the throttle cable adjusted so the TPS is 0% and TB blade is closed and idle is perfect I cant get the TPS to read above 87% at WOT. with the cable adjusted so WOT reads 100% the TB blade stays open and the car idles at like 2500. I tried adjusting the TB cable and TB cable bracket yesterday and just couldn't seem to get it right. Anyone have this issue or any ideas?

Did you reset the tps? I would back the TB adjustment screw out completely so the blade is shut, do a tps reset. Adjust the TB screw to 2% and reset the TSP again so it reads 0. Adjust your throttle cable so it's not hanging up and see where it's at.

I had the same issue with my Fast 92/Warr 92. I pulled out the gas pedal and bent it so that I would read 99% at WOT. I also had to adjust the cable tension in a couple spots to get it to behave correctly. Lastly, I took a dremel to the TPS mounting holes to gain a little more adjust-ability. It turned out perfect. You'll just have to fiddle with it.

I had the same happen to me.
I made a new hole in the throttle body actuator cam for the cable to sit between the two original ones.

if you have a big cam/light clutch and try to tune idle on the warr/fast tb that 200 bucks becomes less and less of a thought

I looked at the warr but wanted the bigger iac port on the NW after dealing with the erratic idle on the FAST for years. I dont mind some minor adjustments, that comes with modding cars. But drilling out holes for throttle cables and bending gas pedals for a tb install is fucked up. I would send that thing back.

The only issue I've had with my WARR 92mm TB is the hole the ball for the throttle cable goes into was not big enough. Once I backed out the throttle screw some, the car has been idling just like it did before the FAST/TB swap.

Lol. I had a NW initially and had the same issues... I returned it and bought the Warr TB hoping it would fit/run better. It was then that I realized that the throttle cable lengths, ASR, etc. were the culprit. Bending the pedal helped offset the cable adjustments so that I have adjustable in both directions for future mods. In the end the car drives perfect with zero slack in the throttle cables.

I'd send Warr an email. They seem responsive. I have a Summit Racing 85mm TB and it works perfect out of the box.

Jason at WARR Performance has always e-mailed me back the same day, and I've e-mailed him a bunch. He's a very good guy and he stands behind his products.

We do try and stand behind our products. When you have it adjusted so the throttle position reads zero and then go full throttle, is the throttle plate actually opening all of the way? Or can you grab the throttle cam and manually open it the other 13%? In my experience, as long as you have enough travel in your throttle linkage and have done a TPS relearn, our throttle bodies will read from 0% to 100%. I've had the issue on a couple of my swaps where the original throttle linkage just doesn't have the range of travel needed for a GM style throttle body. Sometimes bending the gas pedal will give you enough additional travel to make everything work, but other times you'll need to change the geometry a bit.

With the throttle blade closed and the TPS at zero it wont go to 100%. I have to move it some more by hand. Bending my gas pedal would probably fix the issue but I was hoping not to have to do that. As previously noted by other people the hole to fit the throttle cable barrel thru is to small and needed to be enlarged to get the cable in place. I guess I was hoping for more of a plug and play option.

I too had to drill out the throttle cable hole on my WARR 92 mm TB. No other issues though. Very nice piece for the price.
