Default Throttle body size?

I have recently upgraded my 2000 LS1 into a LS6. I have installed a set of 243 heads, 228/232 .612/.595 112+2 cam and lifter set, FAST 102 intake, 60lb Seimens injectors, and now am looking for the optimum throttle body. I had bought a n aftermarket (offshore) throttle body but my tuner says its junk. The car was surging last night.
So now I am looking for a couple of suggestions on size and brand? I thinking a FAST or Holley mainly because they com in black anodized. Buying today.
I am also going to buy new O2 sensors as well today, in an effort to help with the tuning.
Thanks in advance
Ron

I'd go with a Nick Williams 102

Thought I'd mention this - I'm seeing a lot of really good feedback and user experience from the holley 105 TB. Apparently, there are ways to tweak the holley 105 for low rpm drivability and it is easier to get the idle and return to idle nailed down.

I'm considering trying it myself. For about $100 more than the NW, it might be worth taking a hard look at it.

I do like the pictures I see of the Holley, for example the adjustability of the throttle position sensor. I do have to admit I have leaning towards the 95mm as my car is rarely on the track, never before, and my understanding is that the bigger I go the less low end I achieve? Bigger more for top end?

i don't know that is true or not for LS throttles. Typically you see the smaller throttles associated with better partial throttle driveability and tuneability. But I don't know that I've seen a difference in the torque curve - unless it was to cause the torque curve to fall off faster at higher RPM where airflow demand is at its highest.

When I sent my tuner a link for the Holley 95mm he texted me that it was more of a racing application and doesn't use Idle speed motor? Any help here?

So your options are to:

Wait for WARR to have stock;
Pay a lot more for a Holley EFI unit; or
Pay more and have tuning issues with the NW.

Good luck if you are going to be hasty.

EDIT: I recommend putting the stock LS1 intake and throttle body back on until the WARR unit comes in.

This 92mm has an IAC provision: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...s/parts/860004

Comes in 102mm too:

Rebranded offshore parts.

Jason from WARR here. We do actually have 102s in stock (except for black without a vent tube). I just updated our webstore to show that we do have the black ones with the vent tube in stock. If you see something showing out of stock, feel free to drop us a line to double check stock or get an ETA on when we expect more in. Since we sell in person, on eBay and our website, our quantities usually show a little lower than we actually have. We also sometimes have a blem or two on hand for the ones that we don't have in stock, so you can hit us up for them if we are out. Actually, if there's any kind or brand of part that you don't see on our site, ask us for a price, we may be able to get you a better deal on them (and maybe not).

A note on the Holley 95mm and 105mm throttle bodies. They do offer both sizes that use an IAC, but they also have a full race 105mm that doesn't have IAC provisions, so that's probably what your tuner was thinking of, ls1zoo.

Yes the Holly comes in two versions the straight body is for racing applications.

But I'm going with the following model: Holley EFI Billet 105mm LS Throttle Body W/Low RPM Taper and Cable Drive

My tuner said he had no fear of me stepping up to the 105. ...and for $445 shipped its not much more than the NW 102 ... which has had it's share of drivability issues mentioned on various forums.
