What size pump? And I don't see a regulator. I'm installing a Walbro 450 and -8an feed and a regulator. Was gonna use the stock feed as my return. Comments?

I am running the walbro 255 overvolted and system is returnless. Yours will be a better setup for sure. I have a friend who did the corvette regulator mounted near the tank so up front it still looked stock. I did my S10 that way as well. I was thinking along those lines long term.

Yeah, that is my current set-up. I'm surprised you're still getting away with that. I thought more hp = more fuel need

It does. My system is taxed badly and I know I need to upgrade.

Hammer the same car in a 1/4 mile would run roughly :

1/4 Mile ET is 9.69 seconds computed from your vehicle 1/8th ET of 6.1153 seconds.
1/4 Mile MPH is 137.54 MPH computed from your vehicle 1/8th MPH of 110.92 MPH.

That says a lot! For a Basic stock bottom end and Factory heads VS anything bigger or with better aftermarket heads. If the Avg weight is about the same as any other 5th gen Camaro of 3000 lbs or greater the combination is working Great.

@ragtopz28 : Did you look into Improved Racing crank scraper??? Also Schumann makes a weld on 2 bolt pickup tube flange * with gaskets that Eliminates the O-ring and the smaller tube that goes into the oil pump. $17.50
Small things with the short block helps everything else.

A little update to post #46...After talking with FED on what they are doing to the heads, I'll be going 4.060 bore (404 CI) so no valve shrouding.
I told y'all it was a slow build. Still having fun with the 'ol SBE 6.0 running 9.80's. Can't wait to run 9's N/A with the 404".

Checking in...only update is heads have been sent off to FED. . Manley valves and PAC 1238 springs (.750 lift) getting installed. I also decided not to bore to 4.060 and am going 4.030 (back to 398"). 14:1 pistons and C16
Cam should be in the 25x/26x range .750 lift.
'Ol SBE is hanging in there!

One more time, here is what I do know for sure:
I already have - FAST 102 w/mid runners, NW 102, NO102 plate, K1 3.90 crank, Compstar 6.125 rods, LQ4 block currently @ 4.005, good flowing exhaust, S60, Built 4L60 (fingers crossed, haha).
To do:
-Upgrade fuel system (in progress)
-Send 821's to FED for their stage 1.5 w/Manley valves
-Order some forged 4.030 high compression pistons (13-14:1) any suggestions?
-Have block bored to piston specs, balance rotating assembly, cam bearings, etc. I'll debur before delivering to machine shop.
-Order up max effort LLSR cam, lifters, rockers, springs, pushrods (this is where the $$ is)
-Assemble

^^OK, I'm changing my mind again (to save a little $$ by not boring block, no custom pistons, no solid roller cam and lifters).
Staying 4.005" bore and going with hydraulic lifters and cam. I'll be ordering some shelf 4.005" pistons (JE FSR +9cc) so it will be ~12.5:1 compression and running E85.
Thinking of using the Morel 5206's and FIC 850cc injectors.
What say my mentors now??

I am excited to see the results. My only question is why you are staying with a fast style manifold? It seems like it is a a fairly max effort set up. A single plane will allow you to spray more with a 4150 style plate, letting you take advantage of those forged internals.

One, I already have it and the midrunners and plate. 2, probably want be spinning it as high as originally anticipated. And 3, doubt I will be spraying more than 200.

You can shift a hydraulic cam 7500 no problem and will make good power. If you can run e85 all the time then I'd go 13/1 or so compression. More compression the better e85 works

I hear ya. I am not going to engine dyno it so, I'll just have to play with it at the track to see what the FAST likes. I went with the 12.5:1 because the shelf pistons were 1/2 of what the customs were gonna cost.

I engine dyno my 427. Made 671/575 and have added a vacuum pump and electric water pump, going e85 as well.
This combo will make a nice gain over the current combination you have.
