It looks like the list is pretty comprehensive. I was thinking that if you want to break the 500 mark you might need a FAST 102 with matching TB, but I could be wrong. Have you considered using head studs instead of bolts? Also, how did you ascertain that you'll need 7.5" pushrods? What exhaust set up are you using?

Ws6 store sold me the head set up with pushrods. I have Texas speed 1/78 headers with slp exhaust.. I知 still considering head studs.. I just noticed I forgot to order cam bearings..

Some good shocks in the rear and some rear lower control arms should help to avoid rear end killing wheel hop. You may also want an adj panhard bar and an adj torque arm with safety loop (for track safety inspection).

you mentioned lq4, so I imagine you already have the ls1 parts to put onto the lq4 such as the oil pan, tray, balance, etc?

As far as rear end goes I'd go straight into a 9 inch or S60. A manual trans with a 250 shot of nitrous is going to be brutal on parts lol

With your heads on top of a 6.0, and considering your cam, I believe the FAST intake will definitely be worth it.

Auto FTW!! If you're going th400 my vote is for FTI... if you want a 4l60e I'm about to have one for sale with a precision converter. Very well built setup...about as well built as a 60e can be anyways.

I'd also vote for the FAST 92 or 102 intake. 92 should be more than sufficient and doesn't involve changing injector size or fuel rails and 92mm TB bolts right up with no modifying upper water pump housing etc... I'd honestly be willing to bet you'd see 12-20 hp out of a FAST.

Awesome that helped me figure it out... The question I have now is will a 255 fuel pump work with my set up? I just pulled my fuel pump and I知 getting ready to order... I don稚 think the car will be over 450-500 n/a and I have a stand alone for the nitrous.,so could I get away with a 255?

Yes, that pump should be more than enough.

I decided to go with the Racetronix fuel pump and hot wire kit. Any shock-rearend recommendation? Will my stock drive shaft hold up?

Good, that should cover your fuel pressure needs. You'll probably want to upgrade your injectors to handle your 500 hp goals.

From what I have read, QA1 shocks are good for drag racing, Koni shocks are a good if you can afford them (I loved them on my '97 SS), Bilstein shocks are a good all around shock for the price. I hear good things about the BMR springs.

Do you have a steel drive shaft or an aluminum one? I have seen several aluminum drive shafts twist apart under hard load launches on sticky tires. I have only read about the steel ones breaking, never seen it.

Sounds like I知 going to need a driveshaft.. I have gtp injectors not sure How much h/p they can handle.. I知 still stuck on the intake.. they are super expensive for just another 20hp. I知 going to order my quick performance rear next week so I知 trying to research what gears would be the best for me. Definitely going with a full spool
