4 inch exhaust or not
4 inch exhaust or not So my 99 ls1 is currently on a slp loudmouth which splits to two 2 1/2 inch rear pipes. All motor I make about 430 so not a big deal, but on the 250 shot I feel like it' holding me back. Is a 4 inch over kill?
I'm sure all motor it will lose torque, but on spray pick up power. Your thoughts?

Sounds like our exhaust is practically identical all the way through. With that said I can tell you it's not much of a restriction for me at about 600 rwhp...450 n/a and 600 on a 150 shot. On a 250 shot you might be closer to 650 rwhp, so I don't see there being a big restriction, but it might cost you a few hp
