LS6 Intake : Worth it for my ride ?
1) SLP Lid and,
2) Magnaflow Catback

Is it worth it for me to do the LS6 Intake at this point? I'm probably never going to do a cam, rockers etc etc...
the best mod you can do for your car would be a high stall torque converter.
they cost around 500 bucks and you will see a huge gain compared to the intake,and it's only about 200 dollars more.
just somehting to think about

How much more HP would I be putting to the wheels with a TC ? Also, what kinda TC [and with what stall] would you guys recommend ? Its a 98 with 3.23 gears..

A Vig 2800 is a good street TC. Or a Vig 3200 if you want a bit more performance.
And yes, TC before Intake.

I wonder how much of that $370 I will recover!!check out midwest tc's, they are very affordable and good quality and they are about 500 bucks, pi and vigilante will run you close to 800 bucks.
and expect to cut about 4 to 5 tenths off with a converter usually.
