Default Questions about FAST 92mm TB / Air Intake Manifold

Okay, so I ordered the FAST 92mm TB and Air Intake Manifold to put on my car once I get her back from the body shop. I also got gaskets for the manifold. Do I need anything else to install it? Like will the stock air billows work? I don't want to have my car apart and realize I can't drive anywhere because I'm missing parts. lol

Add new knock sensors to ur list; might as well change them while ur intake is off.

Probably should swap from the 4 point spider to the front LS6 coolant crossover and rear block off plates.

I'm kind of amateur, but I'm not totally noob. (I deleted EGR and A.I.R. pump for my headers myself.) What do you mean hammered down? Just... banged it with a hammer until the intake fit? Does that hurt flow or risk leak?

if you get new knock sensors get a new GM knock sensor wiring harness ( GM is best for these parts....dont cheapout )

if you dont have the LS6 valley cover....this is a good time to do it

the manifold really needs porting ....ask me how i know

i used a nick williams TB and i did not care for the fast supplied intake bolts and used ARP

the MAP sensor has no hold down.....lots of ideas here in the threads on how to how it down.....highly suggest you do that

yes....stock intake gaskets do work on the fast FYI

they sit up too high and will hit the bottom of the intake if u dont massage them to fit. doesn't hurt anything

Okay, so I'm about halfway done installing everything... but I have a question. Why is there no place to hook up the smaller vacuum line in the back? Where does that go, and what am I supposed to do with it? I know the bigger one goes to the brake booster, but I don't have anywhere to put the smaller vacuum hose that came off my stock manifold?

The small line is for the ac/heat controls. Basically you have to find a spot to steal vacuum or drill and tap a hole in the manifold or go without climate control. Most people do option 1 or 2.

i found ALL the nipples on the fast to be blocked by flashing or some other things and i had to drill them ALL out .....I would only do that if the shells were separated because of the plastic shavings

I remembered there was drilling holes somewhere in there lol. Now I have to remember what intake it was that had no nipple at all. For some reason my brain was combining 2 issues.
