Default Fuel pump upgrade with pressure regulator - tune required?

I am going to be upgrading to a bigger fuel pump with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Since the pressure can be set to the same as it is right now, I assume that I will not need a new tune.... right?

Correct. As long as the engine "sees" the same pressure as before you should be OK

We need more info.

Are you going from a stock returnless fuel system to a bigger pump and return system with vacuum reference?

The engine doesnt know where its fuel is coming from. As long as the system pressure is unchanged, nothing else needs to be changed. But considering you even want more fuel in the first place - obviously you have other modifications in mind - so those are gonna need to be tuned for.

If you are going to a returnless to return style system yes it needs to be tuned.
