Default LS1 dry sump and timing chain

So I have a dry sump system for my car. I got it from a buddy. But I’m not sure what stage dry sump it is and if I need to keep my stock oil pump in the motor or not? I looked around and I’m just still kinda confused on it.

Also so I am swapping out the timing chain on my LS1 and people are saying in forums to run an LS2 timing chain on the motor. So has anyone else done this or is it not a good idea? Thanks

Looks purely like a scavenge only, so yes you would need to retain the stock oil pump.

Why not contact Razor ? and interesting someone makes one with a ribbed pulley.....if they did a full oil pump setup like that it would be handy

I’ve tried to find razor all over the web and social media man. I can’t find them anywhere. It looks like they just vanished off the face of the earth. Thanks for the help

Either way..it's clear to see it is scavenge only

You’re looking to far into the timing chain thing. It’s just a chain. The LS2 version is just higher quality, that’s all.
