Default Throttle cable to long after fast 102 and 102mm tb

So I hooked the the fast 102 intake up to my new 408 stroker and I put the 102mm throttle body on and when I ran the cable (which was good for the stock throttle body) its to long now. Its about an inch to long and their is no other mounting spots on the throttle body. I'm using the stock cable bracket and that seem to be my problem. Is there another place to mount this cable or another peice of hardware I should be using instead? Seem if I can mount it back by the fuel rails I'll be Ok but Idk what to use to keep it their.

I have the same issue, mine slips off the linkage any time I let off the throttle too fast. I'm thinking about getting one of those adjustable load style ends and cutting the cable. Only problem is my TPS goes 100% with the cable so I'm scared it will be too short if I do that.

I'm watching this so I can hopefully get a part number to replace a stock '98-'02 Camaro SS cruise/traction control throttle cable with one to eliminate the cruise/traction control. In other words, a cable to run from the stock gas pedal directly to the stock throttle body. I know there are other threads discussing the other cable but I have not come away with a part number. Good luck guys.

If it has cruise control, IIRC there are two cables and they can be adjusted. Other than that...I'm of no help.

OK one more thing. If there are 2 holes in the T/B arm, make sure you are using the correct one.

It might be a function of how high or low the Fast 102 intake sits compared to the stock LS1 intake.

Update on this I still have no idea how to officially fix this with out an adjustable cable. The fast 102 intake and fast 102tb does not seem to like the stock cable. This is with cruise deleted btw so just from pedal to throttle body. The way I solved was by taking steel spacers and crimping them to the wire attaching it to the pedal. I haven't driven it yet but have moved the cable, pedal, and throttle blade alot while testing and tuning it and it is still tight on the blade. I don't have pics but tomorrow night after work I can post some if I remember lol
