The sump doesn't appear deeper, it just looks longer than the f-body ls1 pan. I thought with the added clearance of the k member it may work. There is a guy near me selling brand new take offs from LS3 crate motors with pan, pickup, gasket, windage tray, oil tube and dipstick for $100! If the sump clears would the front of the pan be the same as far as front clearance with steering rack?
