Idle air control inlet? On the passenger side of the TB, just across from the idle air controller there is a vacuum port that bends 90 rearwards. Is this port used by the IAC when it opens to draw air in (or more correctly crankcase fumes) or is that port just a vacuum port and it has no impact on IAC function? Another way of asking: if that port were to be plugged, would the idle air still function as expected? |
