Are all LQ4's that same?

Aside from the drive by wire vs drive by cable and the van vs truck wire harness lengths are all LQ4's the same?

Oh, there may be a power steering pump difference due to hydroboost as well?

Other than that are they all the same? For example, will a drive by wire wire harness and ECM from any year work on any year LQ4?

I have a complete LQ4/4L80 with a drive by cable throttle for my '55 Bel Air. If I get get a drive by wire throttle body, wire harness and ECM off any other LQ4/4L80 will it work after tweaking it to stand alone?

Thanks!

Short answer is yes Larry. Cool to see you posting on here.

There are 2 different crank lengths IIRC.

But other than that, the long block is the same. And yes, the wiring would be the same, subject to things like the DBC/DBW thing; and later ones had provision for electric fans.

Looks like that one has the bigger alternator on it.
