What's Been Deleted Here? Hey all, I'm new to the forum, just picked up a 99 Trans Am last weekend. Coming from a 94 Formula, it's amazing what a difference the heart of the beast can make...the Trans Am js a much better car in every respect, largely due to the LS1. The previous owner plated a few emissions components, and I'm trying to identify what they are. I'll include pictures below. One of them is of the EGR valve delete, if I understand correctly, the one on the front. My question is...what is that back plate for? What component was deleted? Yep. As mentioned above, the other block off plate is for the AIR system. There should be another to match on the driver's side. |
