For anyone that's installed the Hooker blackheart exhaust - were you actually able to use those *&#*($# 2.5" band clamps? I can't see any way to fit them over the pipe. My previous Magnaflow exhaust had the same type of clamps, they weren't a problem. Is there some trick to it, or just buy better ones?

I used to use the wider clamps on my projects but the last few exhaust systems I've gone to the 1" wide clamps like they use on late model cars. Just make a few slits in the tubing so the clamp can really pull it down and with a bit of muffler cement. Zero leaks.
