Default Too loud! Anyone else running somthing similiar...

C1 cam, some head work, FLP longtubes, race pipes, loud mouth exhaust. Not to mention the SY4000 stall....

I just took my B&B off to try out my brothers loud mouth for the heck of it. Man, is it loud!

At idle is crazy, I hear loose change rattling all over my car. The soda can in the flip out holder like half empty(or half full will rotate in circles in the holder lol.

Just curious if anyone else think its to loud. Sounds great though.

I am running a boom tube off of a cam/heads/long tube/stripped interior car. THAT my friend is loud. The idle is brutal and once the tach goes above 4 grand people can hear you miles away. When you stab the throttle and row through the gears, the passengers ears want to bleed.

Sweet. I had the same setup a year ago ( only a TR224 cam ) and if I pulled up to the house and just sat and idled, my wife's plates would rattle on the walls and the windows too. Myself I could only handle that kind of noise AND attention for 3 months.

Same C1 Cam, LGM longtubes (32 inch primaries) X-pipe (instead of cats) Borla Stingers. I am told it can be heard from "over a mile" at WOT. Under bridges it sounds INSANE. I get alot of positive feedback. Car does not really shake though.

Just think of the coke can rollin around in your cup holder as a small blessing, that way when a ricer starts reving on you, ask him "Does your car make cans turn around in your cupholder its so loud?"

Ditch the Coke and change to Chocolate Milk. Put all that energy to good use!

If it's vibrating that much and you're posing this question in a post, then it's likely too loud. I'd reccommend choosing a muffler and having it welded in.

FLP headers, Duals, and the old G5 cam was nasty at idle. My girl told me that she could hear me turn into her neighborhood which is 3 blocks away. At WOT you could hear the car over 5 miles a way on a clear night. I just had the duals brought out the back and damn did it make a difference. No more rattles and ****.
