Default moroso spiral flow or dynomax bullets??

I have a 3" xpipe dumped at the axle with no mufflers as of now. Anyone ever used the moroso spiral flows? They are in every jegs magazine. Are they decent mufflers or will the rob me of power? The dynomax bullet mufflers are my next choice. Any takers

I vote for sweet-thunder chambered mufflers. I LOVE how they sound on my dual setup. Very nice rumble, also very deep. The bullets seem to rob the exhaust of some sound.

well i did a search as i was told to. seems spiral flows are power robbers . SEEMS. no dyno numbers to prove it tho. there was a pic of them and they look restrictive, but looks yadda yadda. Ill probably go with the bullets or just continue enjoying my 3" xpipe dumpd with no mufflers

I had Spiral Flows, my dyno numbers are in sig and seem kinda low. I switched to Magnaflow 4x9's and I'm much happier with the sound, and they are straight through so you know they flow great.

Flow is flow ; if you see stuff in the way of a clear , open flow path...it's going to restrict exhaust flow (& reduce noise! There is no free lunch!). Ride on!

I have the moroso spiral flow and I love the sound, second, i havent noticed any power loss over the LM resonator which it replaced. FWIW, my buddy(with the same mods as me) has true duals and the dynomax mufflers runs consistent 12.6-12.7's, and from a 1st gear roll through 4th, were always dead even. I'm not saying I have a 12sec car, and I dont have any new dyno #s, but I just figured it was worth mentioning.

Restricted flow does not necessarily mean less noise. Most of the time yes. The Moroso's were a lot louder than my Maganflows...
