My car wouldn't start

My Z wouldn't start this afternoon.

I drove it for an hour then let it sit for about 30 minutes. When I went to start it, it wouldn't. The only way it started is when it got a jump. When I took it to Autozone they tested the car and said that the battery and the alternator were fine. It has been starting fine ever since.

I think it might be the starter. There were no clicks like the battery was dead.

Any input to solve this mystery would be appreciated.

You could have had a loose wire from the battery, or could be the starter.

My car did something similar to this and it ended up being the battery - If it is an original battery, might want to check the "eye" on the battery and make sure it's still green and not black. When I replaced the battery, I cleaned the connections really well with baking soda and water with a toothbrush and haven't had a single problem since. Might want to just try cleaning the connections to save the cash at first.

I have used coke to clean the connections also, works well.
