Default Stock MAF (Ported) vs Granatelli

Ive been told that a stock MAF is the best route to go. My car is a track car only... The motor is built for nitrous, etc.. I was just wondering if there was a 5-10hp diff between the two. I have both, but I have always had the Granatelli on. Ive been told Im losing HP from it, is that true??

most guys who use after market MAFs end up getting pinging at upper RPMs and set off codes.

Both porting your stocker and using a GMAF put
a mis-calibrated piece onto your motor. If you are
not prepared to tune (and do it without any info
on the true flow/freq for your MAF table), then
you get what you get and it's leaner than stock.
Good combo with nitrous, that.
