SLP LT's, 3" X, LS6 intake coming off / QTP HVM LT's, QTP Y, 90mm LSX going on.
Redoing all my intake and exhaust bolt-ons -from lid to exhaust tip.
The swap will take place sometime next month.
This should provide an interesing comparo:
Coming Off:
MTI Lid
Stock MAF
Jantzer Ported TB
Stock LS6 Intake
SLP LT's
3" Custom X-pipe with Magnaflow 4x9's dumped at the axle.
Going On:
TSP 85mm Lid
Z06 MAF
FAST 90mm TB
FAST 90mm LSX Intake
QTP 1 3/4" High Velocity Merge Collector LT's
QTP 3" Dual Elec. Cutout Y
SLP 2OTL Catback
Looking forward to posting up dyno #s and track times -even if they're not positive- (but hopefully I'll gain a few ponies ).
I had to redo the exhaust due to niose and clearance issues, but I said what the hell- let's do the intake also.

I have the QTP HV merge and they are badass they fit like a glove. The y-pipe leaves a little bit to be desired. The dual cutout y didnt fit with my DD and the regualr y once i added the cutout had to ditch any thoughts of using a muffler in the I pipe completly. This is on the LM. Next exhaust system I use WILL be dual exhaust

I did the same thing. I hated how the slp's hang so low. Too old to have to worry about every little bump. I replaced them w/ grotts, way better ground clearance. I did it as a bolt on car and assumed I'd pick up a bit at the track but didn't. Car did seem to be more consistent. Since your car is more modified, you may see an improvement.
I'd love to get the the fast manifold but I'm going to at least wait till I see how the Ls2 manifolds do. I'm pretty much at the limit of making more horsepower (no more mods left) on a reasonably sreetable heads/cam car. I wish one of the big LS1 shops (MTI, Thunder Racing, TSP, etc. ) was in Florida so I could get my car tuned. My car is not always so fun to drive. Nailing the throttle from around 15 mph does make you forget about all the annoyances.

I've heard great things about Kelly. I ended up making the drive to RevXtreme to see Jeremy. He did awsome work, the only reason I didn't end up at Kelly is because they didn't have software for the GTO yet. I ended up picking up 10-12whp everywhere over Ed Wright's tune. It was worth the drive.
