Slp Maf Question !!!

Will the SLP MAF set the SES (service engine soon) light if I still only have stock tuning? I was thinking of buying one.

thanks gang, nick............

It won't set the ses light. The problem with them is they have no flow table with them, if you plan on geting a tune some time it might be a problem. I was lucky with mine they were able to tune it. If I could do it again I would not have bought it.

Same opinon here. I have the SLP unit I did not see any gains from it. Spend the 159 on something else PLEASE not worth it. I keep hearing that the stocker will support up to 500HP.

i've been hearing the same thing I think I will keep the stocker

I think I read somewhere that the stocker is good for up to 650 hp. to answer your question.... the SLP unit is for use with a stock tune only.

I read in a magazine that the SLP MAF gaine 2.5hp over the stocker. Defineltly not a big increase. With an aftermarket water pump they gained like 6hp but gained a decent amount in the mid range. I have no idea what I gained but in the mid range it seem to pull harder.
