header install and coating q's

Just got some flp's and decided to try installing something on my own. First I'd like to ask about coating. Short of me scalloping a piece off of the headers and having them metallurgically tested to see what they're made of does anyone know? They don't look like stainless, maybe iron? Depending on what they're made of, I think I am in a unique situation about a coating I would be able to apply to them. It would be a vapor aluminide coating that would guarantee rust proofing, at least externally, so I am kind of curious as to what companies that do coat engine components go through for prep. I could grit blast them, strip old coating, stress, and crack test them. I could mig any cracks and blend the welds after I airflow tested them etc. Secondly, what am I going to need to install these? Tools, new gaskets? I don't have access to a lift, so I am going to be doing this on some ramps and jackstands. Appreciate any answers you could give to this.

FLPs are not stainless steel, they're likely just a basic mild steel that's been coated and might ultimately rust unfortunately.
