pacesetter lt's?...
 

i was wondering if there are any mufflers that sound good with the pacesetter lts and y pipe? i currently have a 40 series flowmaster and its sounds bad being as loud as it is. also is there any way to stop the headers from banging the floorboard? thanks.

Magnaflow & a pry bar willhelp with the headers banging the floor.

I run the Hooker CB & it sounds good, for the track I unbolt the muffler & bolt up a dynomax bullet.

Sorry man i love the way my flowmaster sounds with the headers.

Hooker sounds really nice with an ory pipe. Not much rasp, and just a great sound with a nice price.

Hooker or Magnaflow.

If your headers are banging the floorboard you got problems for sure. No way that should happen with those headers.

If you are sure its your headers then make a set of poly motor mounts your next mod. Less than 40 bucks and well worth it. From what Ive heard, the Hooker may be your best bet for least amount of rasp on a catless y pipe and header setup.

what header-y pipe configuration is good on my 97 formula? i am probably getting pacesetter long tubes, but i need a catted y due to inspection. ican't seem to find a y pipe with cats that will fit onto a 97 formula w/ longtube headers.
