need help, bank2 o2 sensor not reading

ok so after i changed my clutch i musta not secured my pass o2 wire down good enough and it hung down and was dragged on the concrete. one of the wires exposed and cut on the connector, so i took it apart, and re soldiered the wire to the metal inside the connector(pulled the pin out and solidiered it real good), put everything back in together, secured everything put electrical tape all over it. now it still runs like azz once it gets in closed loop. i tested the wire for resistance and it had 0 so im not sure if its the patched cable maybe cuz the black wire is now shorter and i just need a new cable or the o2 sensor is bad. right now im hooking my hptuners scanner and disabling closed loop so that it runs good. when i have it on the scanner my bank2 o2 is reading above 1100mv and every once in a while will dip down to 700-800 for a second. so is it the cable or did i screw my o2 sensor?? :bang:

Sound like the o2, when mine was bad it was at 1100 and did not go down. If you're interested in picking up an o2, i have one off of my 2001 z28 with 20k miles maybe. PM me if you're interested. I think the ones that were working were switching lke 2XX to 7XX. It has been a while since i had it on a tester though.

pm sent. o2 sensor was fine before, so it probably went bad cuz it wasnt heated right? anyone else?

The other thing you can try to be sure is to switch the two o2's from the sides. Put the pass. side on the driver and vise versa. If the code swaps sides obviously its an o2.
