Question Help some ticking sound from around fuel rails

i have been hearing a ticking sound from the top part of my engine on the drivers side, i found that the ticking is coming from a fuel line comin from the intake manifold and it runs to some black cylinder thing that i dont know. if anyone knows what is goin on please help.

The black cylinder thing on the intake is the EVAP solenoid...if the ticking is coming from there, it may be a problem with the solenoid. Any SES lights? Perhaps someone with better knowledge will chime in with more detailed info on how this system operates...you may also want to consider posting this in the fueling & injection section...

all fuel injections engines make that sound. thats the valve opening/closing to squirt fuel during engine intake/exhaust cycle. if one is louder then others then that one might be going bad. so dont worry. be Happy .

its the black cylinder. mine did the same thing. just squeeze the hose fittings to remove it and get a new one from the dealer. easy fix.

There's no fuel in this part of the system, just fuel vapors...
