Default Borla XR-1 VS High Flow cats.

I know both will eliminate a lot of rasp, but which would be quieter? I'm planning on a GMMG with Kooks LT set up, but not sure on which of the set ups I want. Your thoughts?

the borla would run you less $ than the cats and should tone down your exhaust note

High flow cats will make it a lot quieter than a XR-1. Cats will eliminate virtually all rasp. XR-1 will eliminate 75% ~ 85% of the rasp.

What about HP differences between the 2? I know the stock cats are the most restrictive part of the exhaust.

not as much as people think. Cats will rob you maybe 1-3 rwhp tops !
Exhaust maybe 1 rwhp at the most...it's pretty far from manifolds.....
