Default My 2.5 H-pipe duals V's 3" X pipe duals

I just put 2.5" duals with H-pipe and bullets on my car and love them, however I ran across a good deal last night on lanes 3" w/ X-pipe and spintechs. The lanes are mandrel bent and my 2.5 aren't. Would you stick with the 2.5's or go witht he 3" X pipe. Thanks in advance...

Do you plan on many more mods? As it stands with your mods in sig, I would guess the difference in horsepower could be counted on one hand. If you moved up to a big cam, then it might make a little more difference. 2.5" duals are plenty for most setups, even some heavily modded ones, but thats assuming that its all mandrel bent. The fact that youre using crush bent tubing is what hurts, but i really dont think its THAT big a deal.

I will probably do a cam and maybe have the stock heads reworked a little. I guess to be honest at this point i'm really going for the sound, however I do want something that will work well if and when I do cam, heads and a little squeze

Well I did 2.5" duals about 2 years ago, thinking I was only going to do minor bolt-ons. Now my car is pushing ~550 rwhp on the spray and I wish I would have gone with the 3". My suggestion, if you're planning on doing heads/cam/spray later on, go with the 3" duals now.

Go with the Lane's setup. You won't lose any low end whatsoever, and his kits tuck up very well and are a bolt on and go system, no tweaking needed. I wouldn't trade my setup for any other exhaust.

Go with 3". Just in case you (inevitably) want a lot of power down the road.

I went with 2.5 and now am planning to install heads and cam on my car very shortly. I wish i went with 3 inch. Since i dont want to redo everthing i just put two 3 inch cutouts.
