Car won't crank

2000 SS - M6. The car won't crank when the key is turned to start. The AC and Cruise Control don't work either. The car can be started by hot wiring it from the starter relay. The VAS has been disabled.
I know the battery is good, as well as the starter.
I've tried the extra key and checked all the relays. The clutch disable switch checks out too.
My guess it is either the ignition switch or Body Control Module.
Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks.

My guess would be the ignition switch but I dont know how to test it. Someone chime in here.

I'm just guessing, I know you said you checked all the relays - but sounds like it could be the "IGN" (Engine controls, cruise control, air conditioning) relay.

The test indicated by the GM shop manual say it is the BCM. I hear it isn't easy to get to.

Just a guess here...but could it be a blown fuse? Try pulling a few of them and leaving them out for a min. while the battery is still connected. I took my gauges out and then my car wouldn't start. Pulling a few fuses got it working though! Good luck!

Have not seen anyone suggest the nuetral safety switch, or clutch switch in your case. Jumper wire should be able to test it. Switch around some relays but I doubt that is the problem. There could be a fuseable link in the wire going to the "S" terminal on the starter. I do not know if our cars have them though.
IGN Switch - Does your radio come on when the switch is in the ON posistion? Does the radio go off when you turn it to the start position? If this is all OK I bet that switch is OK.
Good luck
