TD's out the back

I've been trying to figure out what exhaust setup i want, and it has taken damn near forever. But i think i've decided on Hooker LT's with TSP true duals, but taken out the back because i dont even want to bother with the fumes.

SO my question is that if i do this setup, will it still be nerve rackingly loud in the cabin of the car, or will it have a nice deep v8 sound? Also are there still fumes, and will it pass OBD II inspection? thanks!

Most guys that have the TSPs run out the back say the cabin noise is reduced dramatically. Some have even said that the exhaust became too quiet after it was run out the back. But I think those guys were using Magnaflow 4x9's.

Anyway, you'll pass OBDII if you have the codes for your cats deleted.

EDIT: Fumes shouldn't bother you, but you won't pass a visual inspection.

When I had my TSP duals run out the back, it cut interior noise and vibration by about 90%. However, run out the back the exhaust became very harsh and raspy, and lost the deep rumble. I hated it so much I went back to dumps. Personally I wouldn't run them out the back unless you plan on switching from the bullets to another type of muffler as well.

You know I've changed my exhaust setup 4 times now and I'm finally really satisfied. I went with Coated Pacesetter LT's, Summit universal 3" Xpipe and 2.5" sweet thunders and turn down/outs. It sounds amazing but isn't real lound unless you really get on it then it screams. The interior noise is very minimal and there is no drone on the highway at all. In fact at 70 - 75 you really can't hear it at all. I don't have any fumes and no interior rattles. I'm very, very please with this system and my total cost Headers and all is around $625.

They are turn down/outs.

TD's out the back will be quiet from the front and inside of the car. Out the back its still loud. Not sure about passing SMOG. Just slip the guy a fifty.

If you live in Arlington dont worry about passing SMOG. They dont sniff your exhaust. Just make sure you havent !EGR. :bang:
