Can O2's be cleaned up? My O2 sensors are crazy dirty from 20 thousand miles of untuned long tube (rich) driving. Anything I can do to clean them up? Or should I just leave em dirty? (I'm putting stock manifolds back on) |
I bought a $10 propane torch from lowes, put the O2 in a vice, and hit 4 sides of it for 45 seconds a piece ( hit the part that sticks into the manifold ). Do not touch it with your hands after it cools, carry it over to the car by the pigtail for installation. Works for me, I saved several sets of O2's with this method. |
