Opinions on Dynatech Supermaxx's? alright guys...this isnt anything thats gonna happen in the next week or so, but im looking into headers and wanting to do homework. whats your guys opinions on the supermaxx's? the place where i work is where dynatech does all of their dyno testing so i see these things working day in and day out. I was wondering what you guy's opinons of these headers are compared to QTP's and Kooks? ive never dynoed a car with those so im curious. and i also think i could get them at a slightly discounted rate given the business that our shop does with theirs. so anyway, sorry for the book. |
I'm slightly biased since I own a set, but I really like them. Great quality, great fit. The downside is the price. They use a 2.5" y-pipe which has great clearance, but some of the other systems use a 3" y-pipe as well as longer header collectors. That may affect power, but that'll depend on the engine as well. The cats are a great fit too...very compact. |
They are a good quality header. When I priced the Kooks and QTPs, the Dynatechs were still cheaper when you factor in all that comes in the package......headers, O2 extensions, premium gaskets, catted y-pipe etc. |
awesome, i think i can get a discount. everytime they dyno something new we all go and check it out. they had an 05 GT in there the other day that they built headers for. sounded awesome. thanks for the help. they aren't on as much as the kooks or qtps so i had to ask, hadnt ever seen a set on a car, but i like em. thanks guys |
I've heard nothing but killer things about them. There next on my list as well. |
they are the old flps. nice headers. kinda expensive i would get a set of qtps |
