pulley install help
pulley install help just bought a powerbond with belts & bolt from tsp for $220 and now i need to find a how to to gfuide me thru the install... anyone care to point me in the direction of a how to for a crank pulley install

Take the belts off by putting a socket on the tensioner and pulling towards the driver side. Now take a deep 24mm socket (6-point) and put it on a 18" breaker bar (or bigger if you can find). Break the bolt free and take it out. Now you need a 3-arm pulley puller (free rental from autozone) Put the arms of the pulley on the inside part of the pulley (this is somewhat difficult/frustrating, for me at least) Now turn the puller bolt until the pulley comes off (it will take some time and some muscle) Now you need a longer crank bolt or a hammer and some wood (i used) I placed the pulley on as far as I could then took the wood and placed it over the pulley and hammered it until I could screw in the old bolt 4 full turns. Once you can do that pull the pulley on using the old bolt and tighten it as tight as you can. Then take the old bolt off and install a new bolt. Tighten to 37lb/ft and then tighten it as tight as you can. They say turn it another 140 degrees, but I have yet to see someone be able to tighten it that far. After that, re-install the belts and you are good to go.
If you can't get the pulley off to begin with, I have another alternative that you can try. Just let us know. You will need the car jacked up a little bit too. Just FYI.

FYI: When they say a 6 point 24mm socket, they mean a SIX POINT 24mm socket. Not a 12 pt. I almost stripped mine using a 12 pt. If the 24mm feels a little loose or you start rounding it off try a 6pt 15/16". I got a much better fit with the 15/16" than the 24mm.

Also, I tried putting the pulley in the oven before sliding it back onto the crank snouth but that wasn't enough. I ended up using a small torch to heat the inside of the pulley a little bit and it slid right on. My garage was about 35* at the time though...
I wanted to heat up my pulley when I put it on, but I didn't think it would help since it was 107 outside and about 137 in the garage. 
I used a longer bolt and the pulley slid on pretty easily though.

I just recived my flywheel locker from kent moore yestarday.
,an ive tried for hrs and i cant get the pulley on enough to use the bolt to tighten it back on ive even hit it with a hammer a few times and no luck .. can i take a torch and heat the pulley then put it on?

Try using a block of wood and a hammer.
