I'm considering selling my stroker motor and building a forged stock cube motor but my exhaust is 1 7/8" stepped to 2" headers into 3 1/2" collectors into 3" duals. How would this setup fair with a built stock cube, solid roller, higher compression motor? I also have a fast 90/90 setup on top.

wow. i run 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 on stock cubes and thats about as large as i'd want to go unless i was sprayin a huge shot.

Why would you want a stock forged internal after driving the 422? wouldn't you want to go up in cubes 427...454?

I'm figuring a built to the max 346 should run almost as good as my conservative 422. If I scrap a block or crank so what...they're cheap and easy to find. If I do that on my 422 there goes my 3k block and 2k crank.

I run a mid-length 1 7/8's on my car stock internals and now with Head & Cam. IMO, it runs alright
