Default 98 camaro long tube headers?

I was looking at headman long tube headers and ory pipe.I will put o2 sims in the rear. Was wondering if a handheld tune such as superchips or hypertech would do a good job at getting performance.Or will my ses light be on all the time and run poorley??

I'm running Pacesetters on my 98, no cats.

Without cats, you're doing to get a SES light. To remedy this, you'll need a tune. I suggest you save up and do headers at one time along with many other mods (such as !EGR and !AIR) and get all the codes custom-tuned out of the computer.

Superchips, Hypertech, etc are all a waste of money - you need a CUSTOM dyno tune to yield maximum performance.

There good if you just need to delete codes, or tune things out (like EGR/AIR)

If your going to get a tune though, get a REAL tune from someone reputable.

If your going to run O2 sims you won't get any SES lights, unless you remove AIR/EGR at the same time.

AIR will give you problems in the long run if you are using an ory.
