DO NOT use a bullet with a magnaflow!
my god!
put a 4 inch magnaflow race muffler (oval 5x8) on the car, with a 90 bend and a turn down to replace the muffler on the mufflex.
sounded really good.
no change in exterior noise, but it was almost stock sounding inside the car, no resonation at all!
went ahead and put a bullet in the I pipe, figured it would help with some of the rasp.
WRONG.
the rasp is now a lower tone, more of a drone, and it resonates inside like you wouldnt believe.
ill be welding in the 4" pipe back into the catback that was cutout for the bullet.
ive run bullets as a resonator in the I pipe, Y pipes, and even on the tailpipes after the mufflers in the past with great results in noise reduction.
this 4" magnaflow seems to hate it.
rant off.

put them in place of the cats.
there really wasnt any crusing difference, but WOT was a touch louder.
ive also used the bullets in a truck i owned (97 c1500) in the y pipe replacing the cats.
no differnce in sound at all on my old truck.
just strange how it made it resonate so much inside this go round.
