witch LT'S and Y pipe to go with need to know witch set of long tubes and y pipe to go with im gonna buy a set within a few days.. i was going with the hooker LTS and o/r y pipe both the headers and y pipe is C/C i already have the gmmg catback.. has aney one know HP gains with lt's and o/r y pipe.. and also has aney 1 had aney good luck with the hooker headers????  |
I love my S/S QTP LTs. however, in my opinion they have the worst y pipe i have ever worked with. both me and my friend bought QTP LTs and off road y pipe and we both had to rebuild the entire y pipe system. the only thing i could salvage was the flowmaster y collector. it hung so low driving the car became an annoyance more than anything....on a side note that spelling of annoyance seems very strang. |

I have QTPs. No issues with the y pipe. I also had it installed on a lift so that is why i think it fit well. |
Have you ever thought about getting a set of Lanes true duals? You shouldn't have any clearance issues with them. |
has aney one had aney problems with the hooker LT'S and O/R y pipe |

hooker headers and y pipe! no problems whats so ever. no clearence issues either. |
Kook LT and Y here. They were somewhat of a bitch to get in, but they are very nice :) |
I say flip a coin, heads for hookers, tails for kooks. Can't go wrong either way ;) as far as RWHP gain, i'd say average of 10-30rwhp to be gained. Maybe even more. |
Pacesetters.. |
go with some that are stainless, i have the hooker lts with the ceramice coating , have had them for one year and are already rusting through. and keep in mind i hardly ever drive it in the rain and is parked in garage for the winter |
