GMMG with LT's and cats..
 

OK, who's got this setup and is it really too loud? I have FLP's and cats and a B&B triflow on my car now, but I am seriously thinking about getting the GMMG. Thoughts and experience please?

not loud just right. i also have cut out. with cutout i get tired of the noise at times.

I am picking up mine from Norris Motorsports in one hour, its getting Kooks and ORY installed. I'll let you know how loud it is with that and if I will be switching to the catted Y-pipe. I am getting older and obnoxiously loud is not as much fun as it used to be.

I hear ya, Mine sounds decent now, but I have always liked the GMMG and that is what I origonaly wanted, but I bought my car with the B&B and it sounded good. Just looking for something different, just dont want TOO loud.

I will let you know next month. But from what i have heard on ls1sounds, you cant get much better. I will be adding KOOKS with cats in about a month.

I have this exact setup. It's loud when you want it to be, and somewhat quiet when that's what you need. I couldn't be happier.

Just out of curiosity what are you gonna do with your b&b? You gonna sell it, because id be interested as long as the tips would come with it too.

Holy Crap.......its bad ass.........sick.........viscious..........definat ely get cats, lol. Its LOUD with the ORY. It is definately exactly what I have always wanted my car to sound like, but DAMN. Seriously though, it sounds awesome and I love it. BUT, I think either bullets in the Y-pipe or cats would get rid of that slight rasp everyone talks about (Its a nice sounding rasp though) and give it a slightly more mellow rumble. I am going to keep mine as is though. I took a co-worker for a ride and half the office watched me leave. When I got back everyone said it sounded awesome except the girls. The first words they said was it was LOUD. I said "nasty loud or impressive loud?" and the said impressive. Good enough for me.

I wish mine would idle a little louder. But it's real nice and deep. It's not too loud on the inside, but don't get me wrong, you definately do hear it. WOT is pretty vicious though :o

Overall, I dont think its too loud. It is pretty loud at startup (cold or almost cold), so if you're worried about sneaking out late at night, you might as well forget about it.

Yes, catually, the B&B will be for sale with the quad tips.

Tenatitvely we will say $300 plus shipping.....This is assuming the GMMG comes in before the snow falls, cuz once that happens, The car won't be moving from the garage until spring.
